Buying medications on the internet? Buyer beware!

Companies who make medications exercise tremendous caution with regard to how their products are dispensed. This is why credible drug manufacturers do not sell their products through retail channels or the internet. Some products find their way into places like 800PetMeds through unknown channels. Pfizer, who makes great products such as Revolution, provides warnings to clients about purchasing pet medications from unauthorized outlets instead of directly from your veterinarian.

PFIZER: We do not sell our prescription medications for dogs and cats to retail outlets, pet supply stores, internet sites or any other distribution facility where a veterinary-client-patient relationship does not exist – nor do we support in any way secondary supply to these businesses. Canine Platelet Enhancement Therapy (C-Pet)

If you pet suffers from arthritis or other joint disease, blood cell platelet therapy promotes healing. Platelets contain a variety of growth factors and since the cell donor is the pet, there are no immune reactions. NW Animal Care has participated in the pilot program with very positive results. You can read more about this innovative plan on the linked brochure. Page 1 Page 2

Cutting Edge Technology now available at Northwest Animal Care:

STEM CELL THERAPY
Great news for dogs that suffer from arthritis, hip dysplasia
or other inflammatory conditions

Stem cell therapy works and it’s now available at Northwest Animal Care from a specially trained and certified doctor. Hip dysplasia and chronic arthritis are among the most commonly diagnosed conditions in dogs. The inflammation can be painful; it can impair mobility and eventually become crippling. In many cases, traditional methods of treatment are not entirely effective or long-lasting.
