Dr. Brent Johnson, Practice Owner
Dr. Johnson earned his doctorate at Iowa State, and then returned to his native home in the Pacific Northwest to share his passion for medicine. He focuses on preventative medicine and owner education for small animals, birds, and exotics. Dr. Johnson also specializes in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery using the latest technologies and procedures. An active family man, Dr. Johnson also enjoys sports and fishing. His family also shares their home with his pug, Squire.
DR. Deborah Carlson
Dr. Debbie Carlson received her B.A. in Zoology from UC Santa Barbara and her doctorate from Colorado State University in 2000. She enjoys working with both cats and dogs while her professional interests include preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and acupuncture. When not at work Dr. Debbie enjoys cooking, cheering on the Seahawks and spending time with her husband Adam, her golden retriever, Lockett, and her kitties, Mini Moose, Raisin and Kenny.
DR. jacqueline blanchette
Dr. Blanchette has practiced medicine for over 15 years, starting her career at Colorado State University earning her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Post-graduation, Dr. Blanchette began practicing in New Mexico refining her skills and ultimately becoming the Chief Veterinary Officer at Animal Humane in Albuquerque. In 2014 she was brought to the Northwest via the Oregon Humane Society where she was employed at their Lead Veterinarian. Dr. Blanchette prides herself on her high-quality medicine and is capable of highly technical procedures such as TPLO. When not practicing medicine she enjoys spending time with her husband and playing with their son.
DR. Mee-La Lee
A native to the Northwest, Dr. Mee-La Lee was born and raised in Tacoma. After graduating from Washington State University, she went on to earn her Master’s in Public Health and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Lee then accepted a position as an Associate Veterinarian in Birmingham, Alabama working with dogs, cats and some exotic pets. After several years of practicing medicine, she was eager to be closer to home. Dr. Lee prides herself on strong client education and her ability to communicate clearly and in a friendly manner. She enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and fishing, and spending time with her guinea pig Sherman.
